Using an iPhone, Web camera and computer, I recorded and edited a series of empathetic gestures inspired by our newly adopted dog, Cousin Violet. This video was produced for the Mattress Factory's Screenings series, 2013. Artists were asked to provide a quick and gestural film “sketch” and encouraged to experiment outside their normal way of working. Cone of Shamelessness was presented April 12 - 25, 2013 in the lobby of the Mattress Factory Art Museum in Pittsburgh, PA.
